how about an indicator on the header to let you know when you have been repped

it would give me warm fuzzies every morning to know when ive been repped; maybe put a flag next to my lq at the top ?

incidentally, mylq (milk) sounds like it should be someones rap name or the name of some mobile for grocery lists.

MyLQ currently has a "Latest Reputation Received" section, under "Subscribed Forums".

I think that just happened to be schneidz' 5,000th post...

But yes ... what Jeremy said. Was that honestly missed in your experiences with LQ?

Further it's a good thing to check from time to time, sometimes other user's comment besides just giving reputation, like when they click on the scales to give rep, they get a pop-up and that allows them to either submit or add a comment and submit. I many times add a comment when I do that.

Next is the details of who gave you the rep as well as which post in the thread they gave you the rep for is included. Forgetting the parts about self satisfaction, it actually can be a useful tool to learn just what you said was found helpful. Also good to know if it was the OP, or instead if it was someone being kind and offering.

Ah, reading this again I think you meant on every page near the MyLQ nav. We have no plans for this at this time, but a better notification system in general is on the long term TODO and we'll keep this in mind as a future enhancement. Thanks for the feedback and congrats on 5k.
