how 'bout a forum on embedded linux
 

should there be a sub-forum for embedded devices like routers, dvr's, coffee makers, ...

yeah, i was thinking something like that the other day actually... seems like a fairly simple tangible subset of devices which it would cover. only thing against it is the popularity of it. but it's certainly very clearly definable.

yeah, i just asked a question in linux - hardware. so based on popularity maybe you could consider a sub-forum in there ?

yeah possibly, although there is another valid angle about things lilke openWRT etc... where it's software inextricably linked to embedded devices, so could be out of place as a hardware sub forum. but as a top level forum, there's the concern about popularity as above. tossing a coin i'd guess a top level forum would be the best fit.
