HCL should have computer case subcategory, if it doesn't

Hello. I didn't see any section for desktop computer cases in the HCL. Unless I just missed it, please consider making one. Until then, I guess I'll just review my case in a forum post, so others will know it's not a particularly good design.

This may be a stupid question, but how can cases be compatible/not compatible with Linux?

This was my immediate thought too. OP needs to provide an example of when a computer-case is incompatible. If all cases work with all gnu/linux, then there is no need for an HCL entry.

If, however, one has a cool case or case-mod to brag about... there is a place for this.

(I suppose it may be possible to find a fancy case with, say, software activated covers using MS-only drivers... or built-in biometrics?)

It depends on the size of the penguin, some penguins are bigger and need bigger cases, ya know ... and probably need more air holes and fans to keep them cool in non-antarctic climate

Interesting point - I suppose the BSD folk can fit many more of those little red guys in the same space though... so how many demons can dance in a standard mini-tower case anyway?

[sigh] I forgot that the HCL is not the same thing as a hardware review list. Possibly because, in addition to the fatigue problems that keep me from thinking clearly much of the time, I had just caught a cold.

The moderators may want to close this thread, since it was pointless of me.
