Proxomitron or userjs might insert (json?) expanders.
Copycode? Satan's monthly patch bulletins use expanders (scroll to green text) for each CVE.

A nice to have would be a a direct link (or a links) in the "My LQ" box to frequent forums. This of course I think would have to be limited in number of links allowed.

Example:
* My Profile
* LQ UserCP
* Edit Profile
* Edit Options
* Subscribed Threads
* Slackware Forum
* Other *NIX Forums
* My Posts
* My Threads
* My Social Network
* My Blog
* New Blog Entry
* Blog Settings
* LQ Stats
* LQ Spy
* Log Out

Zero Reply Threads

I like to I spend most of my time in the Zero Reply Threads and some features I often consider:

Grouping, specifying, or choosing Forum specific listing. Some way, perhaps a dropdown?, to only show Zero Reply, or like groups, within one Forum, say 'Programming' or 'Linux - Software'.
EDIT: I just found a like feature, when you click on the forum to be taken to it directly, within Forum Tools there is the option, Zero Reply in this Forum.

Also, I was trying to sort the threads by Views and was unable to.
Might be superfluous, but some standard sort options might be useful. By standard I mean clicking on the column title would cause it to sort in ascending order; another click would cause it to sort descending... etc...

Thanks

You can do this by using the advanced search.

We'll consider this for a future enhancement.

Just now as I refreshed the UserCP page, social bookmarking link appeared on the top right and it led me to nowhere, perhaps because bookmarking thing was removed from LQ?

I've updated the links that are shown in the upper right. Thanks for the heads up.

Smile Make LQ better !

iraj_j_s@hotmail.com Hello everybody!
In my view LQ is very good and i can say that it is the best site in it's own kind,but still can be better:
1-Make it easier to find answers to the questions :
-at first the site can act as a search engine to find and display the really correct answers.
-next ask user if he|she insists on posting question.
-provide a more friendly environment such that a user easily can speak and ask questions.
-provide an obligation than a replier answers be relevant.
2-Since LQ is already involved in other activities than just answering questions,i suggest to change the site name! such as "LQ and Software" or "LQ and Development" or just "Linux"....etc. This will provide a wider range of activity for the site.
Thanks for spending your time to read this.

Are you sure you want your e-address out in public for spammers to harvest?

Is it possible to add a search option for the blogs? I recently made a comment to a blog-post, but forget who's blog it was and can't find it now.

There's a search box in the left nav and the advanced search can be found here:

For those who want to know how to navigate to these links from a regular LQ page.

Start with "Blog Settings" in "My LQ" menu in the right nav pane.

Now look at the "Blog Control Panel" in the left nav pane; "Blog Entry Subscriptions", Anisha's link, is the next to last item.
Unless you have disabled it or changed its order (in the "Blog Sidebar" page), the "Search" block is directly below the "Blog Control Panel" block. It contains the search box & the "Advanced Search" link referenced by Jeremy.
