We've all got a long way to go to match acid_kewpie: nearly 36000 posts. Surely he should have a special title? Keep the suggestions clean, please!

Hi,

Thanks Brian for your kind words .

Yes, you're right, I don't think that can be described in any title but here's a couple of suggestions to show the love there is between acid_kewpie and LQ: LQ Dedicated, Truly LQ, LQ Supreme Power, ... Looks like Chris, eats, drinks, breathes and sleeps LinuxQuestions. One can only bow in respect.

Kind regards,

Eric

I really can't say the same thing. Anyone look on the LQ Stats lately at the top posters within the past 30 days?

It's about quality, not quantity

I wasn't talking in that sense.... LOL.

And for the record though - To be completely honest, I am a horrible writer and a horrible teacher. I still try to manage though on LQ, since it's what I am good at.

Hi,

repo is right, it's about quality not quantity. In defense of corp769, I can say that we communicate on a daily basis and he has knowledge that can indeed serve the LQ community but he's very poor when it comes to putting it in writing (like most geeks) LOL. Sometimes few words make clear very much if one understands them. When talking to new inexperienced Linux users we have to put in that extra time to explain in more detail what the **** we're talking about. Just my

Kind regards,

Eric

And you are spot on about that. That is one thing I need to improve on... And to think about it, in two weeks I am going through a professional development course; That just might help. Let's wait and see.... LOL

Thanks again man,

Josh

I have found your post very helpful. Back to the original subject though....

I just thought of one - LQ Fanatic. I think it sounds cool, bad ass, and at the same time, it makes a statement.

"Dattijio" = "Elder" in Hausa
or
"Malam" = "Teacher"
