In fact, I was at the point of suggesting the 'guru' thing removal... Do you agree with me?

I would honestly have to say that being considered 'crack-monkey' status would be fun! Although it may take away from any credibility I may have had , I don't think it'd matter anyhow.

Riding on MY coat-tails? That's going a ways! heheh

I would like to keep the option of choosing between guru and LQ addict for members with 1000 posts. I think it is nice to be able to pick which one you are more comfortable with. Like I have said before, when I filled out the 1000 post member title I NEVER in 1000 years thought someone would actually hit it (nevermind the fact that we now have 11!).

Yeah when I first found LQ, I never imagined I would have stuck around for so long, thought I would just eventually stop coming or just poking around every once in awhile. And never imagined I would ever get to 100 or 200 posts at the time with only 500 or so members at the time.
Then the site just got busier and more traffic, more members signing up and it just got more interesting with more questions asked. Stuck around, got addicted, asked to be a mod and never imagined as jeremy said in a 1000 years I would have done it 4 times so far, as in reaching 1,000 posts. Probably be around as long as the site is up or until I die or something.. ( Which hopefully won't be anytime soon. )

That would be a pain in the ass to do... 10 posts maybe, but 1000 posts? I don't know if anyone would even bother doing that...

Question

What about making 500 posts LQ addicts and 1000 posts gurus?
