GIF files on LQ (LZW patent issue)

Hi!

Just wondering what the current views on having GIF files all over LQ and the LZW Unisys patent issue are?

Are you planning on converting all your gifs to PNGs/MNGs? Can you prove that absolutely all the GIFs on this site were created by a licensed program? Are you going to cough up the dough to Unisys, if they decide to mess with you?

No idea what I'm talking about? Check this out.

I may convert them to PNG's someday. Since the only person that has access to upload images is me I can guarantee that they did infact all come from licensed programs.
