Forum Platform App?

A couple of very different groups that I am associated with would seem to benefit from a Forum after the order of Linux Questions...

I have done forums before with Drupal but I am not sure that it is worth the trouble of setting up Drupal and maintaining it.

Anyone have any advice on forum software to set up on a Linux server?

My LUG uses phpBB.

It works quite nicely for us.

FluxBB is very lightweight.
It's a classical forum design.
LQ's software is not available for re-use I think.
