If the penguin has a ? it means the user is online. If it doesn't then the user is not online. I am considering removing this as it seems to somewhat clutter the page. What does everyone think?

actually... i kinda like that idea. it's just not exactly intuitive the way you have it set up. maybe a sleeping penguin or something like that would be better for offline, and a nice wide-awake penguin for onliners.
 better suggestions than mine desparately sought.

What's the point of the penguins then? if you can't IM the user.. it's not much use really is it?
and id there any reason that my moz0.9.4 always looks like this?

well... you have it set to the "Modern" theme instead of the "Classical" theme, which is my personal pref. other than that tho... it looks pretty normal. i have moz 0.9.5, and it looks pretty much the same.
