Double posting in the same second

I've notice this a couple of times lately that some posts were being posted twice in the same second like:
http://www.linuxquestions.org/questi...threadid=72155

I don't know if some people have really quick fingers or there is a glitch with the board but it seems as if there is not enough checking/locking done so the 22 second rule doesn;t have time to kick in.

I'll have to look into this. If submit is hit the second time before the first post is actually inserted though the check will pass.

If this is at all related, if you edit a post quickly enough, it also fails to show the post's been edited. I just noticed that on a post of mine I just changed. And I'm slow. *g*

Yeah if you edit it within a minute it doesn't notice the time change.

Sorry jeremy, we're not trying to give you extra work - honest!

EDIT: Good design!

By design you have 60 seconds to edit a post without it being shown.
