Does LQ use Data Dag? And for what?

Today I noticed a pause while moving from a notification email to the corresponding post. Something called data dog was loading. I haven't noticed this before and it didn't happen with any of the other links. In fact, when I tried that particular notification again after five minutes, datadog did not load.

I DDG'd it and it seems to be a well recognised tracking and monitoring agency. What does LQ use it for?

Datadog is a monitoring, analytics, and observability company. They donate their services as part of their open source program (and I should note, I run the open source programs office and community team there).

OK. I was just a little bit suspicious. The science of data analytics has acquired a bad name over the past couple of years. But if you say it's on the level, I'll take your word for it.
