Desktop image gallery
Would it be possible to make a Image Gallery like the one you have in the Ubuntuforum in this forum?

Please start your own threads instead of hijacking somebody elses. Your question is not directly related to the initial post.

My question is most certainly directly related to the first post. He asked if there was a desktop image gallery. I'd like to know how to participate if there is one.
Your post is the one which is off-topic What did I ever do to you?

Your question is not related to what the OP is asking. The OP is not asking about how to make a gallery but whether its possible for LQ to have a gallery thats similar to the one thats at ubuntuforums.org. So if you think about it who's post is off topic? There is no need to be cocky because I wasn't picking on you but simply pointing out your mistake.

Hey man if you wanna split hairs, have a ball. I was just trying to participate. It's kinda tough to post a screenshot in a gallery if you don't know how to make a screenshot. Sorry if I stepped on your toes somehow by asking an honest and simple question in a thread you hadn't even posted in yet.
P.S. I'm not clicking your link LOL

You didn't step on my toes and I don't have time to waste sparring with unknown people (splitting hairs as you call it). I appreciate that you are here to participate and there is nothing wrong with that. You make it seem as if I was picking on you or picked on you in the past, so I will spell it out to you: I am not picking on you and have never picked on you. You are just making a mountain out of a mole hill.
Continuing with this discussion further digresses from the original question, so enough said from me.

flame war alert- this is me with fire extinguisher, water etc.
It's a question of bandwidth really- jeremy chooses to put the money for lq toward more worthy causes like hosting the text based part- sure this site has ads, but jeremy has been known to foot the bill when the revenue doesn't cover it. We owe a lot to him. thanks jeremy!
Anyway, there is nothing stopping you from posting your screeshot up somewhere and linking to it in the massive thread in general.
Also, the howto screenshot question would be better suited elsewhere, but it's not offtopic.
cheers.
