Deleting posts/threads
I hope that this hasn't been asked before.
I saw many threads being locked, but I've never seen a moderator delete a post/thread. Is there any specific reason for this? I mean, I always understood that the locking of a thread meant that the moderator did not want that particular discussion continued. So why not delete it and erase it from the record altogether? I may be wrong on both counts, so if I am, please feel free to ignore this. Jerry |
I am the only one who can delete threads and I *rarely* do it. Closing a thread leave a record of when, why, who, etc. - there is no reason to remove the thread except in extreme cases.
