Wink Custom CSS

I did a custom CSS of LQ for my personal use, though I'm no programmer or a CSS expert.

Referring to the image, http://www.imgx.org/files/23660_th9ja/gap.png

Why/what is that gap there? When I logged in I could see the Tags placeholder there. So is it overlapping it or something else? Is it an image or a border line limited to some percentage? Can it be completed as a whole?

A little help please

Also can the Tags be disabled in favour of aesthetics? I mean from my side (user/client/etc..)?
