Convoluted Forums

I'm very reluctant to suggest this, but I figured I'd give it a whirl anyway. I'd like to suggest that the forums have a "new posts" page. I usually come here to try and help other people out. Having to go through nested forums to find unanswered questions is quite bothersome.

I will note that I am a long time helper at the JL.com forums. I am not trying to say they are better(although I must say that, to me, their lack of nested forums is much more favorable).

Anyways, they display new posts on there front page, but I think it could be done better. Have a page dedicated to new posts(on the front page or not, I don't know which would better). And have the page display all threads with a post for the previous 24 hrs. Also, if I've scanned all of those, helped everyone I could, and still have time, I should be able to click to the previous 24 hrs. Then I could scan to make sure all the posts older than a day were helped too. (and the previous 24hrs and on so forth)

You can click on "view new posts" button in front page, below your username. :D

Damn you! You're right. I see it at the bottom of the front page too. :)

I guess my post should say instead, "The 'new posts' link should have a short explanation underneath it'"

It's under each and every thread and a couple other places also. It's been the predominant way I have viewed LQ for years now.
