Closing down year old thread

Hello everyone,

Sometimes I have seen people replying to threads which are very old.

Is it possible to close down the threads which are older than a year or say 2 years? This will help in avoiding unnecessary bumping of old threads.

We've had many threads about this, one of which was quite close to the top when you posted:
