Click back browser button
This sounds like a knock knock joke, but it's not. Why do I have to click my back browser button 3 times? When I search the LQ forums I need to click my back browser button three times to go back one page.

for some websites the pages are reloaded, for ads. probably the longer you leave the page idle, as it refreshes more and more times, for newer ads, the more youll have to press back.
there should be a dropdown arrow to the right of the back (and forward) buttons. try clicking that little arrow, and it should list the most recents websites.. and itll probably list the current page afew (3, in your case). one way to stop this is to block the ip/website providing the ads

Because you haven't installed the "Mouse Gestures" plugin that would let you scroll through your whole history with the click of a button

FWIW, LQ pages never reload for ads. You should only need to click back once for every page you went forward, but don't forget the redirects that lead you to search pages.
