Changing the "Linux Questions" password
I Have used LQ for several years & lost my password on several occasions; but now I'm in a bit of a quandary.
I lost it again; got you to send me a new one (ie: 12?34* Ect) and logged-in; so far so good! Now, I'm pretty sure that, in the past, once logged-in, I was then able, at the top of the log-in page, to change my password to something more humanly memorable. This function, it seems, is no longer available & I can't work out how to change my password (to something more humanly memorable:)). Hope you can help dmk PS. Also, there used, surely, to be a search bar at the top of the page where I might have typed "Changing the 'Linux Questions' password". OK, this info did pop-up: [code]changing root password on the aa1 with linpus linux jenkinsdjj Linux - Newbie 2 5th Mar 2009 07:56 changing password in linux manoj.linux Linux - Enterprise 1 13th Apr 2008 06:14 After changing Windows AD password Samba\Winbind still uses old password Criller Linux - Security 2 28th Feb 2008 10:14 Problem while changing linux forgotten root password aabi Linux - General 1 1st Jan 2008 16:27[code] but only after I had started this query!
