You seem very irate about a typo. Take a deep breath and click the link called Jeremy, then select "send an email" and politely request that he change your name. It's not a major hoop to jump through - and, lest we forget, it's your error that caused you to misspell your own name, not ours.
I managed to make a typo when i picked my username, and now you are telling me that i have to go through hoops with emailing the ops get get it changed?
Ever hear of proof-reading before submitting?
It's your fault alone that you are capable of typing faster than you can think.

While I can't speak on behalf of LQ;
1) You have re-opened a thread that is at least TWO YEARS old!
2) I'm pretty sure LQ cannot delete user accounts that have posts attached to them (which yours does).
3) The proper way to ask for this is to go here: https://www.linuxquestions.org/quest...endmessage.php
I think it is egregious that a website can keep your info on file for life. What are ya gonna do when people start dying? Demand a Death Certificate? We should make this behavior illegal. Obviously, someone wants to gain off of others work, while doing very little in exchange. The epitome of greed and selfishness. Maybe we should start posting the truth and the owners will want to delete us, other than deal with the shame.
