As the others said, give it some time. No reason to delete your account just because of a handful of disagreements.

As you're a newcomer you may be unaware that it is generally considered to be bad form here at LQ to completely remove your posts.

And that, of course, extends to why LQ won't let you "get rid of" an account that has posts.
