Because DUH its mega useless and will just bump down threads that are actually important.

We're running out of ones and zeroes and need to preserve them. And testing threads like that tend to be shortlived.

So, there is a pointless thread at Ubuntu forums......Yawn.

Rather than try to explain why you thread was closed, perhaps you should explain what was the point of opening it. Do it quickly--If I were Jeremy, I would be closing this thread very soon now.

Reason to start that thread:
I was testing the konqueror browser identification option whether this forum can grab the OS or not.

There is a thread specifically for testing that feature (although even that I don't quite understand as you can easily test the feature as you make valid posts). That being said, if you have an issue with a mods action you should really bring it up with them privately first and optionally follow up with me if you're not happy with their response. This thread is not relevant to 99.999% of the LQ userbase.
