BoF at conferences

Something I was reading in the thread about allowing anonymous posters made me think a little bit. Jeremy and a lot of the mods attend various conferences and expos. I've been to two LinuxWorld conferences myself and have always stopped by the booth to say "hi." However, I wonder if it would be possible/desirable to have a LQ Birds of a Feather (BoF) session. This could be a central place for LQ members attending a particular conference to meet and greet in addition to the booth on the expo floor. I know Slashdot has had these at various past LinuxWorlds. I'm not sure if they cost money to put on or what the arrangements are, too.

Apologies if this has already been considered or found unfeasible for some reason or another.

If people are interested we could certainly try to set something up for Linux World San Francisco.
