Being Thrown Back to the Main Page When Signing On.

Sometime ago I brought this up in a thread on a different, but somewhat similar problem and over the last few days this problem has returned.
Here is what I wrote:

Quite often I come to this message board and browse the questions and answers without signing on. If I see something I want to reply to, and click on Opera's "wand" button to sign on, it kicks me back to the board main index page and I have to work my way back to the forum, thread, and post to which I want to reply.

So, as I said, it is back.....

Just happened again while using Konqueror so it has nothing to do with the choice of browser.

I can confirm that nothing has changed on our end, so I'm not sure why the issue would have popped up recently.
