Auto-subscribe to threads you post in
 

I've looked, but I don't believe it's possible. . .

I know, there's a "My posts" clicky over there -->

But I find the view hard to cope with - especially when I've multiple posts in one thread. Instead, when looking for threads I've posted in, I prefer to use the search button & search for my own name. This brings up a much friendlier list, but it's several steps rather than just one click.

On other forums I use, there's an option you can set to automatically subscribe to threads that you post in. Any chance of it being added here?

I believe when you use the 'Quick Reply' feature at the bottom of every thread instead of clicking on 'post reply', it auto subscribes you to that thread. And I'm testing that with this very post. :)

Edit: I guess that feature was removed since it didn't work, but I'm sure it did at one time. ;)

You should be automatically subscribed, depending on your "Use 'Email Notification' by default?" setting.

That's right.. now I remember.. mine is set to no. I'd be damned if I enabled email notifications with the amount of threads I post in.. ;)

Ah. So I CAN do it, so long as I resign myself to getting lots of email as a result. . ?

Hmmm. . . I suppose I could just set up a new rule or two in my spam filter & get auto-subscription without the email
