Interesting stuff, Jeremy. Those of us who spend a lot of time here are certainly interested in what makes this site work.

One question that nags at me is this: Was the the LQ interface crafted from scratch?

I think that would be a fantastic thing to read personally. Linux and FOSS is gaining a tremendous amount of momentum at the moment and it would be awesome to see the unsung heroes that live and breathe Linux come out into the open and discuss how they use it and what it's capable of.

I use the same myself for my more modest forum that's only doing about 750K page views a month.
