Amount of Threads Created

Should we have the capability to view the amount of threads created by each member.

sakeeb 06-07-2002 02:27 AM

it may cause to produce too much unnecessary threads. even now some of the new threads are discussing something which already discussed in someother threads

hanxue 06-07-2002 03:02 AM

Yup, we can know how active a member is, and how good is his/her responses.

acid_kewpie 06-07-2002 03:05 AM

can't see why you need to know... you can see their average posts per day, last post and total posts... i don't see why you want that ability?

jeremy 06-07-2002 07:32 AM

This is something I will keep in mind. thread to post ratio might be interesting. Thanks for the suggestion.

X11, you can. Search for an individual and sort by poster, that way you could see how many posts that individual has been involved in, and how many s/he started. Here's a search for me...(it might be slow to load since it's got 100 posts per page)...currently involved in 963 and started 63...so that'd be a ratio of around 15:1 (ish).

Hanxue, you can tell how active a member is just by looking at their profile (me), but the quality of their response can only be judged for yourself.

I vote no, simply because it does not make sense why you as a member here would need to know the thread to post ratio.

Realistically, unless Jeremy is just curious, does he need to know. I mean, not that I am trying to be mean (never:D), but what would be the point?
