Yeah, yellow is a bad colour. It might be more readable if you highlight it.

Those people seeking help who post in *highly* non-standard English (I am not talking about those whose first language is not English) might want to take that to heart if they really want to get their problems solved. I suppose some of that usage has a place in text messaging (whatever *that* is ) but, IMHO, it doesn't have a place on forums like LQ. At least not if they want help from those of us who remember punch cards!
Exactly.

Well, y'all got the strike-through. I hope you're right about the abuse.

Cheers

A couple comments:

* If it is abused, we'll deal with it as we do with all other abuse issues. I don't foresee an issue though, to be honest.
* If usage patterns indicate a need, we can always add it to the WYSIWYG editor.

I [s]almost[/s] like to type the BB codes; in fact, some browser-vBulletin glitch forces me to do lists by hand.

As you can see by the 2nd word of this post, I would have preferred a shorter code for my personal convenience; but I think the 6-letter tag will further the goal of abuse prevention.

Thanks, Jeremy.
