On the gentoo forum the title is kernel and hardware,the two seem to go together,just my 1/2 cents worth.My suggestion is to add kernel to the hardware forum.
We've had this asked numerous times and felt there is not enough demand yet to add a kernel forum. The kernel can at times be a factor in different cases, sometimes it might be network related, other times its software or hardware related. If you have a specific kernel question, its best to try and fit it in the best forum it might apply to at that time.
