Ability to use the LinuxQuestions.org Google search
The page https://www.linuxquestions.org/linux/member.html says I have this ability, but I can't find, or see it.
Where is it? Does it have a link, or is it an added feature on say, new posts, or replies? 5m after posting this I'm sure the gremlins will un-hide it from me. Rock on and Thanks! |
The LQ Google search is available here: http://www.linuxquestions.org/questi...oglesearch.php

This is what I get when I click on that link and search for the word test
Code:
PHP Warning: SoapClient::SoapClient(http://api.google.com/GoogleSearch.wsdl) [soapclient.soapclient]: failed to open stream: HTTP request failed! HTTP/1.1 404 Not Found in ..../googlesearch.php on line 62 |
It looks like the Google Search SOAP API service is now retired, unfortunately.

Thanks Jeremy.
API 'error' here too. No worries. |
 I assume you are aware that you can restrict the google search to a specific website (e.g. by adding linuxquestions.org to the search string). What am I missing?
