A personal note of thanks to Jeremy and LQ

Some people might ask why I didn't put this as an e-mail. Well, I have. I have sent a personal message to Jeremy also, but I want everybody to know that he has been a great host at LinuxQuestions and has resolved a potentially explosive situation between myself and another moderator here at LQ.

I take this opportunity to publicly thank LinuxQuestions.org for being so much more liberal, much more tolerant and a lot more friendly than some other sites that I don't care to mention.

I also take this opportunity to say that I am a great fan of LinuxQuestions.org and I really appreciate the good work done by all the moderators and members who contribute so much to sharing knowledge which is so important in the world.

I also re-iterate that I have nothing but friendship towards everybody here and I mean no harm towards anybody. Cultural differences, I believe, play a crucial role and that was one of the reasons for the misunderstanding. I hope that the other person involved will also feel the same way.

Please don't close this thread (moderators) because I feel that a lot of people should read this and understand that LQ is such a friendly and helpful community.

I remain, as always, a fan of LQ!

Thanks.

the_imax,

I doubt you know what exactly happened. Even if you do, you don't know what went on behind the scenes. I doubt whether you know exactly what I'm talking about. In that case, I request you to refrain from commenting about such matters.

In any case, please take the positives out of my message and forget all that is past. Please don't rake up a dead-and-buried issue to be discussed in full length.

Thanks for your understanding.
