60 Second rule?

Since when do you have to wait 60 sec's inbetween posts? i think that is pretty dumb. I can average about 2 posts every minute depending on how long it has to be.

the feature has been implemented to stop the occurences of the post being made a numebr of times from server hangups and such, and has worked very well so far. i've hit the 60 second thing a few times, but only when being anal about double posts. go thymox, i believe the precise words were "Hey whats up neeyo, how you doing? (btw welcome to LQ)".

If you complain about it, it might be a 120 second wait next time.

I only got it once, suprised the hell out of me cause I was actually answering questions. I had to wait a full half minute, no big deal and its keeping the server running smoothly. I like the 60 second rule.

I fixed the problem that was causing the server hang, so I will lower this to 20 secs. I can't imagine anyone will hit that.
