As an update: We're going to allow a few more days for feedback on the MCA categories. Early next week we will finalize the categories and start preparing the nominees for feedback.

Interesting idea, but I'm not sure there are enough nominees in any single category and including both podcasts and magazines in the same category doesn't seem ideal.

Note that I really like the "Linux publication of the year" idea, but didn't include it this year for a few reasons.
* We added quite a few categories and this is already the largest MCA category list ever.
* It was a late suggestion and I'd like to ensure there are no perceived personal conflicts. (On the magazine side: I had a column in Linux Magazine for many years, have written for LF, Linux Pro and a couple others and am featured in Linux Journal this month. On the podcast side: I'm currently a co-presenter in Bad Voltage.)
* I'd like additional feedback on how the category should be structured. Should it be a single category with Podcasts and Magazines, a rotating category with Magazines one year and Podcasts the next, something else?
With additional feedback and time to sort it out, this is likely a category we'll add in some form for 2016.
