2 times clicking on "reply" made 2 posts

I had faced a weird situation when i was posting a thread, I had clicked on "submit reply" button. Because of my slow internet connection it was not redirected. So I thought my thread not posted. Again I clicked on the "submit reply" button. Now LQ page refreshed. Now there are 2 posts with same data.

Perhaps there should be some text that says to only click the "Submit new thread" button once.

Or perhaps the submit button should disable itself somehow after being clicked once?

There's a thought worth consideration.

While the double-post situation isn't pandemic, it does happen frequently.

Cheers

Yeah, that's a better solution, since people don't really read things.

Thanks for the feedback. We'll keep this in mind as a future enhancement.
