'Too rapid re-submission' error in Opera

Using Opera, I often used to get the 'Too rapid re-submission' error (I can't remember the exact wording of the error message, but it occurs after submission and tells you that you have tried to submit twice in rapid succession).

When I upgraded Opera from 10.0 to 10.10 (?) this went away, which was an unexpected advantage. Now, even though the error message itself isn't a big problem, this was an advantage, even if, potentially, it was only an accidental double click on the submit button (it has certainly occurred when I hadn't thought that I had double clicked on the button).

On upgrading to Opera 10.60, I notice that this problem is back (well once, anyway).

Any clues as to what is going on here? And are there any counter-measures that might help? As I say, the error message itself isn't a big problem, in fact it is clearly better if double submissions don't occur, but it would be better if the attempted double submission didn't occur at all.

We've made a change on our end that may address the issue. If it continue to see this, please let us know and we'll look into it further. Thanks for the feedback.

This hasn't now happened for a week and while:
  • it only happened once, after the upgrade to 10.60
  • it only happened on a percentage of occasions on 10.0
it looks as if this problem does not occur any more, so I'm marking the thread as solved.

So, Jeremy, thanks for doing whatever you did. I can't say for certain that this is what made the problem go away, but, for me at least, the problem does not seem to be current anymore.
