If you want serious inquiries to your ad, then you should spell the ad correctly. No Perl programmer would want a boss, client or supervisor who can't spell Perl.

Also, considering what will be required before any coding even starts (UI designs, requirements meetings, data modeling, etc), I would question whether your three-week timeframe is realistic.

An opportunity like this will come your way. THINK BIG! Unfortunately your not local.

Hey Dugan

Your right about Perl thing I don’t know what I was thinking. I apologize for the mistake and also your right about the time mark. The bench mark is phase one and we want to do phase one by Feb 7 however I understand the complexity of the task and high probability that the completion of phase one may be moved.

Do you know anyone who is capable of handling this difficult task.

PHP/MySQL Programmer

Who is your audience?
What project are you designing - a movie database??

I'm too lazy for JAVA (even though I did a whole semester's work in a single day).
I chisel my development down to mere hours - check out REALbasic, now for the Web!

Runs great on Apache with FastCGI - I program for it and scripted out an app that answered my Databases 101 open book exam questions in like 10 minutes and I walked out with easy As. (I wonder why the F students kept yowling over this strange "test curve" thing???)

I have a demo project going on right now - http://jobs.oldcity.ws/
I do what I can between job searches. or sleep :P

You can declare a job search record or look-up a user's name.
In future, you will be able to announce a need for employees.

What you see is the result of maybe a day's worth of work, straight off the top of my head.
(I happen to be unemployed right now :D so there's my inspiration)

I'd like to make a suggestion...

OGS,

I think I would make a great candidate for OGS. Unfortunately, I would need you to relocate me so I could help you make some money before hurricane season starts. We get tornadoes around here. I'm rather versed in disaster recovery, but I don't know Florida as well as I know Oklahoma. I guess there's some need to knows for the new comers anyway, back to the point....

Some venues where you may get more local responses is ELance, vWorker, oDesk or Freelancer, especially for contract work. I am confident there are others like jExpert. You may even be able to find some one that can do the work telecommute style. I've got a profile, with a portfolio, put together at newink2001.elance.com, among the others. The resume got mangled after an update, but straightening it out is on the agenda. I've got some other things that are a little more pressing right now.

If helping me relocate isn't a big deal, I'll get you a resume/transcripts and we can talk turkey. I qualify for GS-7/9 work, but I'm really not interested in marrying government work. I stay as low maintenance as possible. I don't keep a vehicle. I haven't got any children or a wife, but I think about trying out for one sometimes. I do have a small library to which I refer frequently. I get around on a bicycle, and I stay out of trouble like an expert. What do you say?

Best Regards,

New Ink -- Henry
