Freelance Linux developer for a text menumaker

We are looking for a freelance developer to make a tool to create and maintain linux menus. This tool will be used to make easier the job to our operators.

Software needs to have these characteristics:

- Menus must be text based, to run with ssh or telnet. The idea is to execute the menu when the operator logs in to the system.
- Administrator must have a tool to maintain all menu structure.
- Menus must avoid any direct interaction with the operating system.
- Menus must be handle roles and privileges.
- Source code must be provided

Thanks for any proposal.

Martin.

Do you prefer shell script or not?
Which shell?
I am good at bash & could possibly do this.

Edit: Have you looked for existing Open Source tools?

linux menu system -- did you find it yet?

I'm looking for the same thing.
Did you find someone to create this for you? Or did you create it yourself?
I'd be interested to learn about your solution.

I can do this if the offer is still on and you can pay me in Romania (by PayPal or international bank transfer for instance).

A simple database that used the menu choices as metadata could not be that hard to make. Recently started working on something like that. I have not converted it to linux yet. May go ahead and do that. The login scripts and rights would probably be the hard part.

Did notice before you posted that this thread is over 3 years old?
