Burning CD over 700mb

Hello all,
I have downloaded Suse 10.1 for the x64 AMD, the GM (Gold Master) edition. I want to, of course, burn these ISO's to CD. The first one is 729mb which is quite a bit over the 700mb limit of my CD's. I have heard of "overburning" and have tried it burning the new Knoppix 4.0 x64 AMD version. The burn was good at 16x and 24x... but unable to boot from it. Yes my laptop is set to boot from CD or DVD.

My laptop (Gateway 7515 series, AMD 64 4000+, 1 gig ram, ATI Mobility Radeon X600) came with Nero Express 6, and in the advanced section it talks about overburning, and it is selected. I increased the minutes of the overburn and have tried to burn 2 CD's, but still no boot from CD after burning.

My real goal is to get Suse 10.1 burned to CD's so I can partition this hard drive and have dual boot.

What am I doing wrong? Much appreciated on any info to get me forward...

Please do not post the same thread in more than one forum. Picking the most relevant forum and posting it once there makes it easier for other members to help you and keeps the discussion all in one place.

And try to pick the correct forum too.
