Glad to be of service to someone. You didn't have to reinstall, you could have edited a file called /etc/inittab and changed the default runlevel from 3 to 5. If you weren't quite comfortable doing that then its ok, as long as you got your system up and running the way you want it.

This would be a good place for *Somebody* to mention the "My LQ" box on the right side of the screen, and the "My Subscribed Threads" in there, and the "Show subscribed threads from" and its select-box which also contains "the beginning" to find all you ever did here; lots of people zap msgs & email regularly.

Since *Nobody* did yet, consider it mentioned, but maybe *Somebody* else would like to elaborate more... *Anybody*?
