rant: fedora 10 is awful

I've just installed fedora 10, having been a fedora9 user for a few months now. I was getting on ok with fed9 but this fed10 is awful. What were the fedora dev guys thinking? Everything I do there is a problem. I can't even get past the problem of not being able to log in as root on a brand new install. What a stupid bug-ridden operating system.
In my efforts to get just one thing installed I constantly get:
Could not retrieve mirrorlist http://mirrors.fedoraproject.org/mir...a-10&arch=i386 error was...
this is so lame.

oh well, at least I feel a bit better for letting off some steam, and it's back to fed9 for me.

Yes, this is lame...

First, you post in "success stories", when all you have is a rant with no facts.
Second, for the main issue, you don't even tell us the complete error message.

I suggest that you put specific questions in the Fedora forum.....
