Wink Quasi-miracle in my Linux experience!

It all happened on a really good day: I finished three exams in the time for two (teachers beware, I know I got uper 90s on all of them... no lectures now )

I'm running Mandrake 10 community edition, on a regular run of the mill P4

Anyway, back to our story.
I had lost my icons again. No biggy, just log out and log in again, problem solved.
It froze. I reset. On the reboot, It wiped my firefox bookmarks.

Wait, I can hear you say, isn't this the place where we tell SUCCESS stories? This sounds like a problem to me... Before you call the moderator, let me finish my tale:

I have been plauged with "not being to find page" problems. I couldn't get to gmail, I couldn't log in to my hotmail... it was hell.

Now, everything works! no biggy to restore bookmarks from memory. I can get to gmail for the first time, log in etc etc no hitches. Sites I had forgotten about came back. I can log in to hotmail. Halleluja!

Blessed be the Linux penguin, may his reign be long and prosperous! The firefox fairys worked a miracle today! Halleluja!

Even if it was just a fluke, I still am very very very happy.

thanks for listening!
