optical mouse sluggishness problem solved

well, i am a newbie, but i think i solved a trouble today,

Problem was, i have an optical mouse and linux could not detect the movement when i slowly move the mouse. it caused a lot of irritation , and i could not find the answer anywhere. Because of that i went back to windows, even i didnt want to.
Until today, i tried a similar problems solution (that i found here) and it worked!. i only added ´ Option "Resolution" "256"´ line to the ´mouse´ part of the /etc/x11/XF86Config file and it worked!, now it is very smooth. But i warn you, dont make big changes in that file and have an extra backup. Thanks to the linuxquestions.org..

Ahmet
