NFS Setup successful...

After a few tweaks and reading the NFS How To; Tricky's thread, and several various posts I finally setup NFS.

Sad to say, but if I had just installed the slackpack versions of the NFS utils/portmap from the get go, I'd have had to simply add the shares to /etc/exports and be done with it on the server side Oh well, I learned quite a bit from the HOW TO so it was worth the work

Cool

Not a problem:
The NFS How-To it's even semi up to date!
Thread on Filesharing in Linux that covers the basic configuration of NFS.

And to use NFS, you should have basic networking setup, maybe via a Hub, Router or Switch, so here's the Networking How-To as well:
http://www.tldp.org/HOWTO/Networking...iew-HOWTO.html

Cool
