This is a success story for all of Linux, not little me. Recently I bought a brand new harddrive at Best Buy and on the back of the hd it said, "This drive good for MS Windows, Mac, and Linux" I was quite excited because I had never seen hardware admit to working with Linux, whether or not it does.

I also bought Norton Ghost which also stated it was compatible with Linux ext2/3.

Alright Linux! We're getting a lot closer!

Of course, this makes me think that Linus or the OSDL should come up with a logo for us so that when manufacturers DO want to say their product is compatible, they can have the neat little icon. For example, Windows has a flag, Mac has a blue/purple face, we should have a little penguin or something.
