My users have their outlook .pst files stored on one of our Linux servers and after an unexpected reboot (not Linux's fault) I was dreading having to tell everyone to reboot their machines. Normally, when the files were on our windows machines, the only way to reconnect them to the files was a reboot (Don't ask, it's been a WinHell for me) Anyways, after the reboot finished, I was waiting for the first person to come in and ask me if there was a problem with email. Strangely, no one did. I thought that perhaps no one had checked their email yet and it was a matter of time. Then after about 10 mins, I thought I'd walk around the office and check things out. I went into several offices and they were all connected to their pst files! I did a doublecheck on the server and Linux automatically reconnected everyone and didn't give me an ounce of crap. I'm going to put all of our servers on Linux if Linux is going to behave properly like this.
