Installing the amiwm window manger on Slackware 10

Compiling this program on Slackware 10 gives you a 'lex : command not found' error.

In order to compile successfully on Slackware 10 you need to instal the 'flex' package that was included with Slackware 9.1 and below but not 10.

Either copy it from the Slackware 9 cdrom or download it here.

'cd' to where you copied/saved it and type pkgtool, and then select install from current directory.

I wish Amiwm was still being developed. Its FAST, light and I love the way the amiga window buttons are setup (window close on the left and iconify, maximise and overlap on the right). Then you have the cool screen dragging that made even WB1.3 look good.

The flex package I couldn't find was actually on Slackware 10 disc 1, I just didn't install it!

However searching for the package at www.slackware.com gave no results (with version 10 packages).
