Talking I'm just so glad I made it

Having stumbled upon the suggestion that a Linux distro would make my old 128mb ram PC running xp go like a rocket, I chose a puppy, wary 5.1.2 live CD. At first it wouldn't load and I though the system couldn't handle it till I realised it was the Cd drive itself. I've just swapped the leads around with the RW drive and hey presto here I am, going like a rocket

Welcome to LQ and congratulations on getting use out of a 128 MB system.

Nice place, the Forest of Dean, some magical corners to be discovered. Say hello to the old mines and the old pubs for me
