Gpen tablet f350 installed on SUSE 11.3

Here is a short descr. how f350 gpen was installed on my suse 11.3
However I must confess .. strange behaving of this device make it
completely usless. If you in doubt , dont deal with it.
  • Any way here are installation steps:
  • Usefull links:
https://help.ubuntu.com/community/TabletSetupWizardpen
https://launchpad.net/wizardpen
  • As root:
tar vxfz wizardpen-0.6.0.2.tar.gz; cd wizardpen-0.6.0.2/
rm configure libtool aclocal.m4
libtoolize --force --copy
aclocal
autoconf
automake
./configure --with-xorg-module-dir=/usr/lib64/xorg/modules/input
make
make install
cd calibrate
make install
vi /etc/hal/fdi/policy/99-x11-wizardpen.fdi
(Change name of device as reported in /var/log/Xorg...log)
mv /usr/lib/X11/xorg.conf.d/70-wizardpen.conf /etc/X11/xorg.conf.d/
vim /etc/X11/xorg.conf.d/20-wacom.conf
Remove: WALTOP from MatchVendor
:wq
vi /etc/X11/xorg.conf.d/70-wizardpen.conf
ADD: MatchVendor "WALTOP"
REPLACE: MatchDevicePath "/dev/input/by-id/usb-WALTOP_International_Corp._Slim_Tablet-event-mouse"
:wq
CALIBRATION:
cd /dir_where_untared/wizardpen-0.6.0.2/calibrate
./wizardpen-calibrate /dev/input/by-id/usb-WALTOP_International_Corp._Slim_Tablet-event-mouse
Take its output and place at (at my case thats the values):
vi //etc/X11/xorg.conf
Section "InputDevice"
Identifier "wizardpen"
Driver "wizardpen"
Option "Device" "/dev/input/by-id/usb-WALTOP_International_Corp._Slim_Tablet-event-mouse"
Option "TopX" "240"
Option "TopY" "345"
Option "BottomX" "10000"
Option "BottomY" "6000"
Option "MaxX" "10000"
Option "MaxY" "6000"
Option "TopZ" "32"
Option "BottomZ" "1000"
EndSection
:wq
