I Have Recently Installed Red-Hat Linux, I Love It I Don't Think I'll Ever Go Back To Windows. When I Had Windows All I Ever Had Was Problems, Now I Have Linux And Everything Works!!!!! Its Great I Love It. Everyone Should Switch To Linux

just wait a few months, then go back and try using ms - you will wonder how anyone can stand it, much less pay huge sums for the privelage.

interesting observation

yes, linux can have its issues when you are a newbie, as i am, but after some time of tweaking your system, and spending time learning the benefits of it (maybe its just human nature to adapt and accept the new environment)

but then try going back to windows, its like going to a foreign land

I agree with you. All windows ever gave me were problems. There were times when I had to start from scratch several times IN A WEEK!!!! because the system would not start (blue screen of death) and could not repair the installation; it simply did not work. With Linux, so far, everything works, except for the scanner. It is a pitty that we don't have more programs that works with Linux, I guess this is one the reasons why people continue to use Windows, because of the large number of applications available, but this will change too, I'm sure that software developers will soon realize the importance of Linux and will come up with software for this platform.

Lots of free & small (KB-ish) application that a Windows user will love.

[Sarge is 14CDs binary (for i386) and 15CDs source, but you don't need to downlaod them all!]

LOL!!! That's completely true!! I can't stand windows when I have to boot it. I always try to avoid it, and if I cant, I do my work as fast as I can jsut to shutdown Windows and return to my beloved Gentoo :)__
