Windows convert

I have been stuck with Microsoft since Win 3.11, but having retired I have found the time to explore Linux.
I finally partitioned my laptop into a dual boot xp and Linux Mint14 setup sharing files on a Fat32 partition. What a revelation - Linux is so much faster and more responsive. I am a convert especially as I have always hated the ethos at Microsoft. Thanks for this community.
