Talking What it do, what it do

Hey, y'all. My name is Kari. I'm new to linux, just installed zorin 15.3 core on an old, and I mean OLD dell laptop for the first time. I'm also in my last 2 weeks of culinary school, a full time Army wife, a mom of 4, plus 1 furbaby. I stay busy as much as I can, if you can't tell, lol. I have messed around with the hardware side of computers, and I'm pretty good at rooting android phones, but never been one to mess with os's and software. Thought it was about time. Look forward to meeting some of y'all and learning a lot.

We have quite a few people around here who use old computers, me for one. One of the many advantages of Linux is that you can adapt it to run well on old hardware. The goto distro for that is AntiX, but almost any distro will do if you use a simple desktop.
